Aug 14, 2018 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling completed by Falconbridge in 1960 intersected 4 ft returned 0.23% Ni and 1 ft returning 0.21% Ni and 0.08% Cu. The eastern section of the deposit was tested by Falconbridge diamond drilling, which intersected grades between 0.83% Ni to 3.04% Ni, 0.09 to 0.33 g/t Pt and 0.23 g/t to 0.56 g/t Pd over 3 m. Minor Fe-Ni-Cu sulphides occur throughout the lower komatiite succession which include varying proportions of pentlandite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite. Disseminated mineralization predominates, but is associated with zones of blebby, net-textured, semi-massive and massive sulphides.
