Lithology Comments

Dec 15, 2015 (A Wilson) - The intermediate to felsic pyroclastic rocks in the central portion of claim group l show the strongest alteration being moderately carbonatized (calcite), strongly chloritized and weakly silicified. Up to l% pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization also occurred in the pyroclastic rocks as disseminated crystals and rare splashes of chalcopyrite. The mafic volcanic rocks of the Kinojevis Group generally showed very weak alteration and little to no mineralization.
