Lithology Comments

Nov 30, 2015 (A Wilson) - The deposit consists of multiple mineralized zones within mafic and ultramafic rocks between the ENE trending Destor-Porcupine Fault and a subparallel diabase dike within the fault zone. The fault zone here is up to 150 m wide and is represented by sinuous, bifurcating faults which dip moderately to steeply to the south. The Stoughton-Roquemaure Group consists of massive and pillowed mafic flows and minor peridotitic komatiite flows. The strata are intruded by felsic and mafic dikes. All rocks, with the exception of the dikes, are moderately to strongly carbonatized and sericitized with local zones of silicification.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 30, 2015 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling completed by Hollinger Argus returned values up to 0.045 oz./t Au over 15 ft. Diamond drilling completed by Noranda in 1987 returned values of 1.2 oz./t Au over 0.25 m; 0.012 oz./t Au over 0.5 m and 1.81 oz./t Au over 0.5 m. In the East and West Zones, gold occurs as free grains in gray or green carbonate veins (quartz-carbonate-ankerite +/- green fuchsite veins) and breccia that is typical of the Timmins gold camp. Surface diamond drilling completed in 1998 by St Andrews returned assays up to 1.19 g/t Au over 1.4 m in porphyry. The best assays returned 3.455 g/t Au over 1.45 m; 6.43 g/t Au over 0.9 m.
