Lithology Comments

Jun 24, 2013 (A Wilson) - The diamond drill holes intersected quartz-carbonate altered mafic metavolcanic flows intruded by narrow dikes/veins of feldspar porphyry. The core is described as being broken and badly ground up. Gold values are associated with a red syenite porphyry dike which is highly fractured. The porphyry dike is approximately 55 feet thick and dips almost vertically. It strikes along the south shore of the eastern peninsula.
