Jun 22, 2013 (G Seim) - The Night Hawk Lake Fault (Gold Island Fault) underlies the north part of the Aquarius property. A northeast-trending fault, the Gold Island Aquarius Fault, crosses the northeast part of the Aquarius property. Mafic metavolcanic rocks and komatiitic peridotites underlie much of the claim group and are intruded by feldspar porphyry and diabase dikes. The metavolcanic rocks have been intensely altered to talc, chlorite, and carbonate. Ferroan dolomite altered rocks form an anticlinal cap over the original mine workings, and it is these rocks that form the bulk of the open pit ore reserves. Trace element geochemistry by Asarco indicates that the carbonate cap is an altered ultramafic rock. Gold-bearing quartz+carbonate+albite breccia veins comprise up to 10 % of the carbonate replacement rock.

Jun 22, 2013 (A Wilson) - Three samples were collected from OVD AQ-02. Samples 02, 03 and 03A were collected from bedrock at the base of the hole (between 160 and 167 feet). Sample 03 assayed 31 ppm Cu, 18 ppm Zn, 175 ppm Ni, 0.5 ppm Ag and 10 ppb Au. Sample 03A returned 36 ppm Cu, 34 ppm Zn, 36 ppm Ni, 0.7 ppm Ag and 2490 ppb Au. Both samples contained quartz-carbonate (green fuchsite) and trace pyrite. The highest assays obtained from the 1984 diamond drilling program were 0.956 oz/t Au over 1 ft and 0.322 oz/t Au over 5 ft in DDH Q-6. A more typical range of assays was 0.02-0.04 oz/t Au over 5 feet. Gold is present as free gold in quartz veins or with disseminated sulphides associated with small intrusive rocks or albitic alteration in completely carbonate altered ultramafic flows. Carbonate alteration is up to 200 m wide and can be traced for thousands of metres discontinuously along strike. The gold is often in cross cutting or conformable features. Timiskaming conglomerates are often proximal or part of the package.
