Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of polymictic conglomerate. The matix is a fine- to medium-grained mosaic of quartz with some sericite-chlorite alteration. The conglomerated is moderately altered to carbonate. Chloritic slips are common throughout the core and these may host associated quartz and/or marcasite-pyrite. Blue-grey quartz veins are common throughout and carry pyrite, sphalerite, arsenopyrie, galena and molybdenite.
