Access Description: Travel south 2.5 km from highway 101 to the Aquarius Mine. Travel by atv 3.5 km west to the site on the north shore of the east peninsula. The site can also be accessed by boat on Night Hawk Lake by crossing northeast bay.



Exploration History

Circa 1912-14: property owned by Viscount Lascelles, transferred to Captain Mann. 1937-1944: Ronnoco Gold Mines - property acquisition, mapping, DD-15. 1982-87: Pamour Porcupine Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, IP, DD-2-1282 ft, OVD-70-7540 ft

Lithology Comments

Jun 25, 2013 (G Seim) - The Ronnoco South Deposit occurs within a thick syenite dike that trends east along the south shore of the East Peninsula of Nighthawk Lake.




Mineralization Comments

Jun 25, 2013 (G Seim) - In 1996 Royal Oak announced that the Ronnoco Extension formed part of an 800,000 ounce geological resource on 4 zones that also includes the Ronnoco North, Hopson and Gold Island zones. Royal Oak reported a best assay of 0.185 oz/t Au over 95.1 feet.
