Lithology Comments

Jun 26, 2013 (G Seim) - Drill hole SER-87-9 collared at a depth of 223 ft in rock described as silicified mafic metavolcanics with continuous in-situ brecciation. The hole intersected a feldspar porphyry from 343.5 ft to 355 ft. and then passed into basaltic flows followed by ultramafic volcanic rocks. The end of the hole was at 548 ft. SER-87-10 collared with 260 ft. of casing in a diabase cut by feldspar porphyry dikes. At 441 ft. the hole passes into silicified intermediate volvanic rocks. with occassional disseminated pyrite.
