Access Description: The site is accessible by driving east from Timmins along highway 101. The former drill site is located on the north side of the highway approximately 5 km east of the intersection with highway 67.



Exploration History

1964-74: Hollinger Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd. - 5 ddh (3017 ft), ground geophysics. 1981-84: Comstate REsources Ltd. - ground geophysics, mapping, geochemical survey. 1986-88: Noranda Exploration - ground geophysics, 1 ddh (261.5 m) 1987: Chervron Canada Ltd. - airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The conglomerate is characterized by coarse conglomeritic unites averaging about 5 ft in width separated by 5-10 ft of finer material. Narrow quartz stringers locally cross cut the conglomerate.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The best assay returned 0.03 oz/t Au over 1 ft in a narrow quartz vein in conglomerate.
