Location Method: Data Compilation

Access Description: The zone is partially under the water of Nighthawk Lake and partially under the East Peninsula of Nighthawk Lake. Access may be gained by water from Highway 101, from the Nighthawk Lake Mine or by drill trails leading from the Asarco Aguarius mine site.

Lithology Comments

Jun 24, 2013 (A Wilson) - Gold occurs in felsic sills and dikes (felsites) within carbonatized fuchsite-bearing ultramafic rocks. Most assays ranged between 0.01 and 0.22 g/t Au over 4 m. Assays as high as 28.80 g/t Au over 2 m were obtained from quartz-carbonate veining.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 24, 2013 (A Wilson) - Assays from the 1996 drilling of the Hopson Zone included: 1.56 oz/t Au over 6 ft; 1.42 oz/t Au over 12 ft.; 0.39 oz/t Au over 19 ft; 0.089 oz/t Au over 188.8 ft.. The Hopson Zone extends for over 610 m along strike. The Hopson Zone is one of 4 zones that contain geological resources of approximately 800,000 ounces of gold.
