Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - This hole penetrated through a a vertical depth of overburden of 132.5 ft. and collared in massive rhyolite at 188 ft. The holes intesected massive rhyolite, rhyolite tuff breccia and intercalated amphibole schists. A possible magnetic iron fomation was cut from 246.2 ft. to 250.6 ft. Two sulphide intersections were encountered ar 335.65 - 336.8 ft. (massive pyrite and chalcopyrite) and 390.7 - 392.7 ft. (stringers sphalerite, chalcopytite in pyrite) Each sulphide interval was located at the contact between massive rhyolite and amphibole - chlorite schist.
