Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - CA 2-1-71 encountered 186 ft. of overburden and collared in rock described as dacite. At 427.4 to 491.4 ft. The hole intersected Graphitic tuff with rhyolitic intervals. The tuff contained 10 to 50% py-po. Below 491.4 to 598.1 a rhyolite breccia was intersected. This shows sericite and silica alteration and minor py and py. From 598.1 to 885.4 an amygdaloidal rhyolite was intersected. Quartz-calcite-chlorite stringers within this unit area associated with chalcopyrite, sphalerite and pyrrhotite mineralization. Andesite was encountered downhole of 885.4 ft. to the end of the hole at 900 ft.
