Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - Diamond drill hole VA5-7B-71 encountered overburden to a depth of 120 ft., a dacite fragmentat to 438 ft., graphitic tuff to 451 ft., grey wacke to 463 ft., graphitic tuff to 480 ft, argillaceous sediment to 547 ft. and greywacke to the end of the hole at 582 ft. From180 to 184 ft. sphalerite is associated with a carbonate stringer. Pyrite and pyrrhotite in concetrations up to 5% was observed in the dacite fragmental and graphitic tuff.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - The interval from 178 ft. to 183 ft. (5 ft.) assayed 0.67 % Zn. and the interval from 448 ft.- 453 ft. (5 ft.) assayed 0.42% Zn.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - B.R. Berger (1999) notes that the alteration associated with the 0.67% Zn assay is simalar to the GREY ZONE type alteration present at the Hoyle Pone gold mine about 17 km to the SE.
