Lithology Comments

Jan 14, 2015 (A Wilson) - The site is overlain by a thick sequence of overburden. Geologic interpretation of the site was on the basis of diamond drill core. A pronounced unconformity is interpreted between the volcanic rocks and the metasediments. At the north and south parts of the property is a sequence of massive flows, between which is a complex series of thin flows interbedded with volcanic breccia and tuff. The sediments consist of arkose, slate and mudstones. Two bands of conglomerates also were intersected in the western part of the property and are interpreted to continue across the Bonetal ground. Gold values appeared to be higher grade where the zones lie in the massive arkose.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 14, 2015 (A Wilson) - Ore on the property was considered as a continuation of the Hallnor vein. In 1938 an underground drill hole intersected 0.44 oz/t Au over 10 ft on the 3rd level, 50 ft west of the boundary between Bonetal and Hallnor ground. Drilling suggested that quartz veins and ore grade values occur in two zones about 20 ft apart. At the 2nd level horizon these zones lie about 50-70 ft SE of the greenstone contact. These strike parallel to the contact and dip steeply south across the steeply north-dipping beds of the sediments. Values appeared to be higher grade where the zones lay in the massive arkose. A 5 m section of core between 59.5 and 64.5 m, from NM-83-2, returned 0.024 oz/t Au from mafic metavolcanics.
