Access Description: Access to property is via a gravel road northwards from Florence Street, South Porcupine. This road leads to the Kinross Gold Corporation security gate.
Diamond drilling in 1996 resulted in the discovery of two new zones. Hole PW-4 intersected an interval that graded 0.27 oz/ton Au / 8.5 feet (600 Zone). Hole PW-1 intersected two mineralized intervals, the first contained a weighted average grade of 0.23 oz/ton Au / 12.5 feet (included 0.96 oz/ton / 1.6 feet), and the second contained a weighted average grade of 0.22 oz/ton Au / 20.3 feet (included 0.45 oz/ton / 4.9 feet). This information was presented in a May 23rd, 1996 press release, and no further details were given.
