Geology Comments

Jan 11, 2019 (G Seim) - Berger (1999) indicates that the area of the drill hole is underlain by mafic metavolcanic rocks including a graphite breccia consisting of angular to rounded fragments in a graphite-chlorite-carbonate matrix. The following is a summary log for 0 - 46.2 ft. Casing; 42.6 to 71.5 ft. Andesitic Agglomerate; 71.5 to 73.0 ft. quartz stringer; 73 to 224.1 ft. graphitic tuff - sediment containg much pyrrhotite; 224.1 to 331.4 ft. Dacitic Agglomerate; 331.5 - 517.6 ft. Dacite Agglomerate or Breccia; 517.6 - 595.5 ft. graphitic tuff - sediment; 595.5 - 675.0 ft. dacite fragmental; 675 ft. to 781 ft. massive or Pillowed Dacite. The drill log indicated that much of the fragmental rock is serpentinized suggesting that it is not an intermediate or felsic volcanic. Further the log several different fragment types suggesting that the unit may be a debris flow or conglomerate. Conglomerates containing ultramafic fragments are known in the area.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 11, 2019 (G Seim) - The sulphide mineralization intersected in this diamond drill hole is highly anomalous in nickel. Much of the hole was assayed with most returning between 500 and 1000 ppm Ni. The High value for nickel was 2020 ppm from serpentinized dacite fragmental. Copper values range up to 380 ppm and Zinc up to 1030 ppm (T-688).
