Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Intermediate Tuff 1 Tuff Host
Intermediate lava flow-unsubdivided 2 Amygdaloidal Hanging Wall

Lithology Comments

Dec 03, 2018 (A Wilson) - The drill hole intersected a sequence of intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks variously described as agglomerates, breccias and tuffs. There are multiple silicified sections noted in the drill log. Between 270-284 ft. “iron formation” was intersected and consisted of a tuffaceous unit with sedimentary chert bands and abundant sulphides. The two drill holes completed to the north also intersected a similar assemblage of rocks.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 24, 2011 (A Wilson) - A 1.5 ft section of silicified intermediate tuff returned 0.30% Cu between 373.5 and 375 ft. Other anomalous Cu values also were recovered from bands of iron formation and cherty tuff horizons. Diamond drill holes completed in Thorburn Tp to the north also returned anomalous Cu values.

Jan 24, 2011 (P Bousquet) - Anomalous values in Thorburn Twp are lower than 0.25% Cu.
