Aug 25, 2008 (A Wilson) - The occurrence lies within the mafic metavolcanic rocks of the Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex. The Kamiskotia Volcanic Complex overlies and is intruded by the Kamiskotia Gabbroic Complex. The KVC has been dated at 2701± 1.4 to 2698± 1.3 Ma.

Aug 25, 2008 (A Wilson) - The vein strikes 125° and dips 80N. It varies from 12 inches to 30 inches in width. The vein is mineralized with fine pyrite and chalcopyrite. Diamond drilling by Inco intersected intrusions of massive coarse-grained gabbro at depth. Numerous narrow quartz stringers are found within the mafic metavolcanics.

Aug 25, 2008 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by N. Hogg in1950 returned 0.65 oz/t silver and trace gold. Grab samples collected by J. Kirwan for S. Tesluk in 2000 returned assay values ranging from 0.25 to 0.33 oz/t.
