Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The property is located approximately 50 km north of Timmins and 15 km southwest of Cochrane. It can be accessed by travelling south from highway 11 on the Dunn Lake Road. A logging road which turns off the Dunn Lake Road runs along the south edge of the survey area.



Exploration History

1942-1943: Donaldson and Cochrane Chromium Prospecting Syndicate completed a magnetic geophysical survey, sampling and trenching. 1956: Upper Canada Mines completed magnetometer geophysical survey, mapping, 2 diamond drill holes totalling 1,586 ft. 1993: Falconbridge Ltd. carried out magnetic and horizontal loop electromagnetic (HLEM) geophysical surveys 1994: Falconbridge Ltd. completed ground geophysics, 1 diamond drill hole totalling 419 m.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A 6 inch section of drill core returned 0.06% Ni. A grab sample from the trench returned 9.65% CrO.
