Location Method: Based on Assessment
Access Description: Access to the NW quadrant of Tully Twp is from the south where bush trails lead northwards from the end of the gravel road which ends at the Texmont Deposit. An alternate access is from the east where bush trails lead west from the end of the gravel road passing by Ice Chest Lake and Roy Lake.
Exploration activities by Newmont Exploration in 1983 resulted in DDH MN83-4 intersecting a weakly anomalous gold value of 498 ppb Au / 5.2 feet (weighted average grade, 136.5-141.3 ft). This value was hosted by a unit described in the drill log as Transitional contact between porphyry and mixed exhalative to waterlain tuff units. Disseminated to massive sulphide bands.
