Access Description: From Highway 11 travel west on concession road 5 for 10.9 km then travel south 6 km turning west and travel by ATV for 1 km. By foot for 1 km to site.

Schultz - pitting, trenching. 1946-50: Cunigold Mines Ltd. - mapping, sampling, ground geophysics, 12 ddh (4180 ft). 1964-65: Jonsmith Mines Ltd. - trenching, ground geophysics, mapping 10 ddh (9967 ft). 1972-73: Amax Postash Ltd. - ground geophysics. 1973: International Mogul MIines Limited and Rayrock Mines Limited, - ground geophysics, lithogeochemical analysis. 1976: Dome Exploration (Canada) Limited - airborne geophysics. 1996-98: Falconbridge Ltd. - 4 ddh (704 m), ground geophysics, mapping.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A thick sequence of peridotite overlies felsic metavolcanic rocks that contain both disseminated and banded sulphides. The felsic volcanic is described as rhyolitic agglomerate in the drill logs. Feldspar porphyry intrudes the rhyolitic sequence. A thick graphitic zone within the rhyolitic sequence returned elevated Zn and Cu values.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Seventeen grab samples collected by Cunigold in 1946 from outcrop returned average values of 0.64% chromium. A crushed sample returned 46.5% chromium and 23.6% Fe. A 23.5 ft section of drill core averaged 0.76% Cu, 0.08% Ni. Bulk samples from four pits averaged 0.08% Cu and 0.20% Ni. Narrow quartz veins returned assays up to 0.04 oz/t Au. Diamond drilling completed by Jonsmith intersected a 2 ft section of felsic volcanics that returned 1.19% Cu and 0.02% Ni. A 1.8 ft section of sulphidized felsic volcanics returned 7.02% Zn, and 0.12% Cu. A 2 ft section of drill hole J. S. 3 returned 1.18% Cu and 0.12% Ni in rhyolite. Grab samples collected by Falconbridge in 1998 returned 1200 ppm Ni and 2595 ppm Cr, 1200 ppm Ni and 3430 ppm Cr. Diamond drill hole MAN 24 -01 intersected 0.85 m returning 16800 pm Zn and 1.5 m returning 2100 ppm Ni. Falconbridge DDH MAN24-02 intersected 64 m of drill core where the assays ranged from 755 ppm over 0.8 m to 5500 ppm Ni over 0.96 m.
