Location Method: Based on Assessment
Access Description: Access to the NW quadrant of Tully Twp is from the south where bush trails lead northwards from the end of the gravel road which ends at the Texmont Deposit. An alternate access is from the east where bush trails lead west from the end of the gravel road passing by Ice Chest Lake and Roy Lake.
Diamond drilling by Newmont Exploration in 1983 resulted in DDH MC83-3 discovering a gold intersection of 0.155 oz/ton Au / 4feet. DDH MC84-2 was drilled 400 feet along strike to the southeast to follow up on that gold value and intersected an anomalous gold value of 1.72 g/t Au / 10 feet (0.05 oz/ton Au). This value was hosted by a graphitic argillite containing a well developed quartz stockwork.
