Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond driling intersected a sequence of pillowed mafic metavolcanics intruded by a narrow mafic to intermediate breccia. These overly a narrow sequence of silecious sediments (graphitic argillite?). The peridotite is descirbed as medium to coarse grained that locally show patches of disseminated pyrrhotite. Pyrrhotite and pyrite is commonly found within hairline fractures near the uphole contact of the ultramafic intrusive.
