1984 - Cheveron Canada Resources Limited and Abitibi-Price Inc. Canegie Joint Venture Project M529 drill hole C84/2 to test anomaly Carnegie #4. The hole was drilled to the SW at -50 degrees.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (G Seim) - C84/2 encountered 49 m of overburden. From 49.0 m to 122.2 m massive basalt; 122.2 m to 124.1 m brecciated f.g. intermediate andesite to dacite; 124.1 m to 126 m mafic metavolcanic; 126 m to 128.8 m brecciated/silicified, m.g. to f.g. intermediate volcanic; 126.8 m to 128.5 m Felsic tuff intercalated with graphitic argillite and chert, graphitic intervals contation vfg sulphide and po/py/cp nodules; 128.5 m to 143.8 m mafic metavolcanic (basalt), 143.8 m to 149 m Intermediate lapilli tuff with occasional interbeded graphitic argillite; 149 m to 166 m (EOH)m.g. intermediate volcanic flow.
