Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The peat is mainly heterogeneous, composed of a mixture of Sphagnum, sedge, wood and brown moss. Sphagnum is the dominant component of the vegetation. The bog has an estimated volue of 26,530,000 cubic metres of peat over 1 m in depth. The site is considered to have good commercial potential.
