Access Description: There is direct access to the SW corner of the peatland via highway 11. The deposit is located roughly halfway between Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The peat is mainly heterogeneous, composed of a mixture of Sphagnum, sedge, wood and brown moss. Sphagnum is the dominant component of the vegetation. The bog has an estimated volue of 26,530,000 cubic metres of peat over 1 m in depth. The site is considered to have good commercial potential.
