Point Location Description: Drill collar on former claim 29721

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The site is accessible by driving west from Iroquois Falls along highway 578 to highway 11 and then drive north along highway 11 for approximately 1.5 km to a pipeline access road. Drive east for approximately 500 m. The drill site is located on the south side of the road.



Exploration History

1950: Quebec Asbestos Corporation - ground geophysics, 2 ddh (1189 ft). 1981: Amax Minerals Exploration - airborne geophysics, mapping, prospecting. 1996: Falconbridge Limited - enzyme leach survey.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of massive, coarse-grained peridotite. Narrow veins and stringers of asbestos was observed at depth. The peridotite is overlain by a thick sequence of gabbro and diabase(?).

Mineralization Comments

Jun 22, 2012 (A Wilson) - Drill hole 50-2 intersected less than 2% fibre in stringers less than 1/8 inch long. Asbestos was intersected between 420 and 630 feet.
