Access Description: The site is accessible by driving east from the junction of highway 11 and highway 578 for approximately 3 km. The drill set up was located on the north side of the highway.
1951: Boutin et al. - 3 ddh (246 ft)1972-73: M. Montfort et al. and Canadian Johns-Manville Co. Ltd. - stripping, trenching, ground geophysics. 1975: Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, 3 ddh (1609 ft).

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a thick sequence of basaltic flows overlying a sequence of cherty and tuffaceous metasediments. The metasediments, in turn, overlie peridotite. A narrow feldspar porpthyry intrudes the epiclastic rocks.
