Exploration History

1959: Canadian Pacific Railway: DD – 3 – 926ft. 1972: Dome Exploration flew an airborne geophysical survey which was followed up with two diamond programs over the next two years. 1980: Additional exploration was carried out by Dome Exploration which consisted of a ground magnetic survey followed by a small drill program. 1987: A joint venture gold exploration program was undertaken by Marshall Minerals, Gail Resources, and Gold Vessel Resources. This program consisted of airborne geophysics, geological mapping, stripping and diamond drilling. 2006: Amador Gold Corp. – EM, Mag.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - The mineralization is restricted to a short interval of sericitized mafic volcanics. Away from the mineralization the volcanics are carbonatized and chloritized. Intercalated with the mafic metavolcanics is a narrow horizon of lean magnetite iron formation.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - Large blebs of pyrrhotite are associated are associated with quartz veins and also occurs in thin seams forming about 3% or the host. Minor amounts of pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite are found with the pyrrhotite.

Apr 07, 2015 (A Wilson) - The best assay returned 0.5% Zn and 0.08% Cu over 6.6 ft (T-249).
