Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - A graphitic shale is intercalated in a sequence of mafic metavolcanics. Nearby outcrops consists of strongly foliated to schistose mafic volcanics with chloritic alteration together with more massive felsic rocks which have been mapped as feldspar porphyry intrusions.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (S Fumerton) - Pyrite occurs in cracks within the mafic metavolcanics.

Mar 18, 2015 (P Bousquet) - The graphite appears in a slaty metasediment. It is dense and black in colour. Hole G-1 intersected 18 ft of the material, and hole G-2 13.4 ft (T-1362).
