Unigold completed ground geophysical surveys over parts of the claim block group and carried out a program of stripping, trenching and sampling over some of the geophysically defined targets. 1987: A 12 hole DDH program (111.9 m) was implemented to test geophysical targets outlined previously. Hole UM-2, the location of the showing intersects a highly altered, mineralized and mylonitized porphyry body. 1989: B. P. Resources Canada Ltd. - airborne geophysics, mapping, sampling.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Unit described in drill core as a quartz feldspar porphyry: medium grained, sericitized, grey to grey green, highly sheared feldspars smeared, slightly calcareous, non magnetic, severely micro-fractured. Alteration consists of interbedded sericitic siliceous zones and sericitic ankerite zones.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Predominant sulphide is pyrite up to 12% in sections with minor amounts of pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite. Pyrite has been noted to occur as fine disseminates, crystals and blebs. Both pyrite and pyrrhotite have been reported as fine 1mm stringers. Arsenopyrite has been noted to occur as very fine disseminates as well as elongate crystals up to 1mm.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - An assay of 3.4 g/t Au was obtained from this occurrence. The best assay obtained from diamond drilling returned an assay of 0.1 oz/t Au over 1.8 m in sericitized quartz-feldspar porphyry.
