1964 The Keevil Mining Group Ltd. held 32 contiguous claims in the west corner of Muskego and Keith Townships and the southern corner of Foleyet Township. Keevil Mining conducted a magnetic and electromagnetic survey over the property as well as a geologic mapping program. 1965 Keevil Mining Group Ltd. drilled two holes into two separate conductors outlined in their previous geophysical survey. 1966: Canadian Johns-Manvillle Co. Ltd – EM, Mag. 1971 Noranda Exploration conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over an area which included the occurrence. The survey revealed several conductors of varying strength. 1982 Geosearch Consultants Ltd. conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over the claim group for Dome Exploration. 1983 Dome Exploration conducted a follow up drill program to test previously outlined geophysical targets in the area of the southern Muskego boundary and the northern portion of Keith Township. 1987 Aerodat Limited flew a combined helicopter-borne magnetic and VLF-EM survey for B.P. Resources over the Muskego and Slate Rock Lakes area. 1991 Falconbridge Exploration conducts a ground electromagnetic and magnetic survey in an area to the west of Slate Rock Lake in northern Keith Township.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Anomalous gold value reported in a drill log at a vertical depth of 152'. Log describes unit as a silicified zone (altered mafic volcanic): light to medium green, fine grained, hard, banded, schistose, light to moderate chloritization, moderate to heavy carbonatization, rare quartz vein, local semi massive pyrrhotite +/- pyrite bands, remainder of core (unit) has trace - 2% sulphides parallel to foliation. The anomalous gold value occurs within a 1' section of trace pyrite and pyrrhotite grains, silicified, carbonatized.
