1964 The Keevil Mining Group Ltd. held 32 contiguous claims in the west corner of Muskego and Keith Townships and the southeastern corner of Foleyet township. Keevil Mining conducted a magnetic and electromagnetic survey over the property as well as a geologic mapping program. 1965 Keevil Mining Group Ltd. drilled two holes into two separate conductors outlined in their previous geophysical survey. 1971 Noranda Exploration conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over an area which included the occurrence. The survey revealed several conductors of varying strength. 1982 Geosearch Consultants Ltd. conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over the claim group for Dome Exploration. 1983 Dome Exploration conducted a follow up drill program to test previously outlined geophysical targets in the area of the southern Muskego boundary and the northern portion of Keith Township. 1987 Aerodat Limited flew a combined helicopter-borne Magnetic and VLF-EM survey for B.P. Resources over the Muskego and Slate Rock Lakes area. 1991 Falconbridge Exploration conducts a ground electromagnetic and magnetic survey in area to the west of Slate Rock Lake in northern Keith Township.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Gold values reported in drill log at a vertical depth of 93'and 97'. Anomalous values are reported in graphitic shale/greywacke and an intermediate volcanic tuff. The slate/greywacke is reported as dark grey to black, very fine grained with light to moderate silicification and moderate carbonatization. Up to 1% carbonate stringers are reported throughout section. Fine laminations are reported to occur at 70-80 degrees. Slate is graphitic and greywacke layers are siliceous. Intermediate felsic lapilli tuff is described as light to medium grey green with creamy white clasts and veinlets, fine to very fine grained, hardness >5, light to moderate carbonatization, 1-2% carbonate blebs and stringers, gross foliation at 70-80 degrees, slight chloritization.
