Exploration History

1971 Noranda Exploration conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over an area which included the occurrence. The survey revealed several conductors of varying strength. 1980 Hudbay Mining Ltd performed an airborne magnetic survey. 1982 Geosearch Consultants Ltd. conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey over the claim group for Dome Exploration. 1983 Dome Exploration conducted a follow up drill program to test previously outlined geophysical targets in the area of the southern Muskego boundary and the northern portion of Keith Township. 1987 Aerodat Limited flew a combined helicopter airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey for B.P. Resources over the Muskego and Slate Rock Lakes area. 1991 Falconbridge Exploration conducts a ground electromagnetic and magnetic survey in an area to the west of Slate Rock Lake in northern Keith township.
