Access Description: Take the Horwood Lake access road off of Highway 101 west of Timmins. From Horwood Lake take a boat to Hoodoo Lake and then go north along a stream for approximately 1.5 km.
1946 MacLeod Cockshutt Gold Mines Ltd. mapped the area of the showing as part of a claim group consisting of 19 claims. No other work was reported here by MacLeod Cockshutt. 1966 Canadian Johns Manville Co. Ltd. conducted magnetic and electromagnetic surveys on two claim groups to the east and west of the area of the showing. 1972 An airborne magnetic survey was flown by Geoterrex Ltd. for Dome Exploration over an area north of Horwood Lake. 1977 A 4 hole diamond drill program was undertaken by Dome Exploration on their claim group to the north of Hoodoo Lake. Hole 53-B-8 intersected a banded iron formation at a vertical depth of 55m which returned anomalous values of zinc and copper.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Banded iron formation was intersected in a drill hole at a vertical depth of 55m containing silica and up to 10% sulphides between an upper unit of andesitic tuff and a lower unit of dacitic tuff.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The sulphide-bearing iron formation is intercalated with mafic, felsic and ultramafic volcanci rocks. The iron formation reportedly consists of a fine-grained, grey siliceous rock with layers of up to 20% pyrrhotite, minor chalcopyrite and sphalerite.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Reported mineralization consists of 5-10% pyrrhotite with minor amounts of pyrite and trace chalcopyrite.
Apr 07, 2015 (A Wilson) - The best assays returned from drill core are 0.65% Zn and 0.17% Cu over 5.7 ft (T-249).
