Point Location Description: Drill collar for hole F-83-3 at centre of clearing just east off of old road.
Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: Access is via the turn off from Highway 101 onto the Dore or Foleyet Lumber Road, 100 km west of Timmins and 10 km east of Foleyet. From the highway follow road south approximately 7 km. The showing can be reached by an old logging/drill road to the west.
1966 Canadian Johns Manville Co. Limited. conducted an electromagnetic and magnetic survey in the vicinity of the showing. 1980 Hudbay Mining Co. Ltd. conducted an airborne magnetic survey over an area of the southeastern corner of Foleyet Township and northwestern corner of Keith Township. 1982 Hudbay Mining Co. Ltd. drilled 4 diamond drill holes on their property in the northwestern corner of Keith Township. One hole was in the vicinity of the occurrence. 1983 Hudbay Mining Co. Ltd. conducted another 4 hole drill program in their claim group in northwestern Keith Township. Hole 83-2 returned anomalous values of zinc in argillite sediments.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Anomalous zinc values are reported in a drill log and occur in various argillite horizons at vertical depths of 320',331' and 336'. Argillite units are simply described as black, hard, aphanitic, strongly calcareous with thin calcareous bands commonly parallel to bedding.

Dec 07, 2005 (K Houle) - Mineralization consists of irregular bands < 2 with continuous rims that are filled with disseminated blebs of pyrrhotite and minor pyrite. One section is described as having minor chalcopyrite. Overall sulphide content in units is < 3%.
Mar 20, 2015 (A Wilson) - The best assay for this occurrence is 0.39% Zn over 4.5 metres (T-2430).

Notes: Drill hole collar was not located for hole F-83-2 but was located for hole F-83-3 which was drilled approximately 250m to the southeast. Using hole F-83-3 as a reference point a clearing was noted at a location coinciding with the approximate location of hole F-83-2 as depicted in the drill hole location sketch found in the Resident Geologist assessment files. The UTM coordinates of this clearing are given as 17 396976 5335882.
