Access Description: Access is awkward and is best done by traversing along the CNR tracks from the town of Foleyet across the Ivanhoe River.

Oct 07, 2011 (S Fumerton) - The banded iron formations form a marker between an arenaceous sequence and sheared mafic metavolcanics. The iron formation largely consists of sulphide facies but at the lower contact 'ordinary' iron formations are reported.
