Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted within a relatively thin, massive, fine-grained peridotite. The major section of mineraliztion occurs in a serpentinized and carbonatized section of the peridotite. This section has veinlets of carbonate, serpentine, and magnetite. Elsewhere in the same peridotite, nickel mineralization occurs in a felsic inclusion with biotitic alteration. The inclusion is close to the upper contact of the peridotite where it is in contact with a banded iron formation. The iron formation consists of intercalaated chert and minor thin pyrrhotite horizons.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 07, 2015 (P Bousquet) - Reported mineralization consists of disseminated pyrite or blebs and stringers of pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite in the felsic inclusion. Anomalous assay results returned values of 0.23% Ni, 7.50 g/t Ag, 0.20% Zn and 0.03% Cu, from a sample of peridotite showing inclusions of acid tuff (T-249).
