Lithology Comments

Aug 27, 2014 (A Wilson) - The vein occupies an E striking and south dipping shear zone. To the west, the vein has been faulted off and displaced to the south. The shear varies in width from 0.6 m in the east to approximately 6.5 m to the west. The zone consists of a series of quartz vein stockwork and stringers within sheared, silicified and chloritized tonalite/trondhjemite.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2014 (A Wilson) - Assays from diamond drilling completed by Macassa in 1948 returned values up to 0.12 oz/t Au over 1.6 ft. in biotite granite. Grab samples collected by Macassa in 1947 returned assays of trace to 0.06 oz/t Au over 3 feet. The best results obtained from the sampling by North Goldfields were 0.44 g/t Au and 22 g/t Ag across 0.45 m.
