Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks intruded by quartz-feldspar porphyry sills and dikes. A trench was found in a slightly mineralized quartz vein in quartz feldspar porphyry.

Sep 09, 2013 (A Wilson) - Chip samples from veins in the vicinity returned best assays of 0.01 oz/t Au and 0.11 oz/t au over 2 feet. Assays from two holes drilled in a 8-12 foot wide quartz vein at the south end of Quary Lake returned values ranging from0.005 oz/t Au over 2.5 feet to 3.44 oz/t Au over 2.5 feet. The best assay from the second drill hole was 0.04 oz/t Au over 2.5 feet. Reference is made to a sample assay of 0.18 oz/t Au. This sample may come from this occurrence, but details are sketchy. A grab sample collected from a trench in 1947 returned an assay of 0.02 oz/t Au.
