Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Vein 1 Quartz Sheared Host
Tonalite 2 Trondhjemite-Tonalite Sheared Contains

Lithology Comments

Aug 25, 2014 (A Wilson) - The vein is described as lying within a crumpled shear. The crumples on the shear plane make it impossible to assign a definite dip to the vein. Two parallel quartz veins are exposed in a trench in sheared and altered intermediate intrusive rocks.
