Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Vein 1 Quartz Host
Tonalite 2 Trondjemite-Tonalite Sheared Contains

Lithology Comments

Aug 27, 2014 (A Wilson) - The zone consists of an area of quartz veins within sheared, gneissic tonalite. The quartz is buff white with only minor amounts of quartz. The most significant quartz vein varies in width from less than a foot on the east side to 16 feet on the west. A minor fault striking N35W near the west end of the zone offsets the vein 12 feet.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2014 (A Wilson) - The best assays obtained by Royex in 1985 returned assays of 0.03 oz/t Au over 1.3 ft. The easterly extension of the zone uncovered three quartz veins that returned assays of: 0.018 oz/t Au over 2.3 ft and 0.016 oz/t Au over 2.5 ft; 0.002 oz/t Au over 1 ft; 0.036 oz/t Au over 2 ft.
