Access Description: The site is accessible via a series of overgrown trails heading north-northeast from the former Renabie Mine site. The vein is located approximately 1 km north of the Renabie Mine.



Exploration History

1965: Macabie Mines Ltd. - mapping, 10 ddh (2385.0 ft). 1984-1985: North Goldfields Resources Inc. - stripping, trenching, mapping, ground geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing consists of a narrow shear zone hosting quartz stringers, silicified trondhjemite-tonalite and aplite veins. The centre of the shear is chloritized.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Samples collected by North Goldfields in 1985 returned assays of 3.81 g/t Au over 0.65m and 2.37 g/t Au, 45.24 g/t Ag over 2.8 m. The best assays returned from drill intersections in 1965 were: 0.63 oz/t Au and 1.87 oz/t Ag over 0.8 ft.
