Access Description: Drive east along the Renabie Mine access road for approximately 17 km from the north end of highway 651 to the Crooked Lake access road. Drive south for approximately 1.5 km to the Braminco access road and then turn west and drive to the end of the road. Walk overland along a series of old skidder trails to the vein. Alternatively the site can be accessed via Crooked Lake and then by a 750 m overland traverse to the vein.

1947-48: Baltic Mines Ltd. - mapping, stripping, sampling, diamond drilling (2 holes). 1984: Canreos Minerals (1980) Ltd. - ground geophysics. 2008-2010: Micon Gold Inc. – ground geophysics, soil geochemistry

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The Baltic exploration program focused on a series of quartz veins and silicified shear zones in foliated to gneissic granitic rocks within 1.6 km of the eastern contact of the greenstone belt. Most of these veins strike SE to SSE.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 14, 2014 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected in 1947 by E. Campbell returned assays of 1.19 oz/t Au; 0.06 oz/t Au over 2 ft., 0.01 oz/t Au over 3 feet, 0.08 oz/t Au over 3 ft. Assays from diamond drilling completed by Baltic Mines Ltd. ranged from 0.005 oz/t Au over 0.6 ft to 0.01 oz/t Au over 1.8 ft.
