Access Description: Access to the site is achieved by boat via Crooked Lake and then overland traverse to Ash Lake. Alternatively, the site can be accessed by air from Wawa.

Aug 01, 2013 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as being hosted by hornblende schist containing pyrite that is cut by small dikes of magnetite and pyrite. The hornblende schist zone was described as being 30 feet in width

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A channel sample collected in 1934 reportedly returnd 0.1 oz/t Au across 30 feet. Grab samples collected in 1983 returned assays of 0.02 oz/t Au.
