Aug 19, 2013 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of tuffaceous intermediate and mafic metavolcanics. The sequence has been intruded by several diabase and gabbroic intrusives. A kimberitic dike was interesected between 362.8 and 416.0 feet in a 1000 foot drill hole. A second kimberlite was intersected between 431.9 and 455.4 feet. The kimberlite is described as being fine to medium-grained and containing biotite and magnetite porphyroblasts. Between 450.8 and 455 feet an intrusive breccia intruded by kimberlite is described.
Aug 19, 2013 (A Wilson) - Gold assays ranged from 0.311 g/t Au over 2.2 ft to 0.155 g/t Au over 5 feet. Elevated gold values were obtained from sections of chlorite schist and mafic tuffs.
