Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The Baltimore Lake Deformation Zone (BLDZ) is located in northwestern Stover Township where it is defined by by a 1.2 km wide, SE-trending zone of folding, transposition and shearing. The BLDZ can be traced fro approximately 6 km southeastward across Stover Township. The BLDZ is characterized by rootless isoclinal folds of bedding/schistosity, sinistral and dextral shear folds, transposition and ductile shear zones axial planr to the folds.

Sep 09, 2013 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values were obtained from narrow quartz stringers in sericitized intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks. Three diamond drill holes completed by Conquest Yellowknife in 1986-87 intersected a sequence of mafic to intermediate tuffs

Sep 09, 2013 (A Wilson) - A series of grab samples collected from both quartz stringers and the host schist returned values up to 0.02 oz/t Au over unspecified widths. A 1.5 foot sample from Conquest Yellowknife DDH FGM 87-3 returned 410 ppb Au. A sample collected from an X-ray drill hole completed some time prior to 1957 returned an assay of 3.44 oz/t Au over 2.5 ft.
