Lithology Comments

Aug 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - Two parallel shear zones occur in sheared intermediate metavolcanic rocks. These metavolcanics have been sheared to sericitic schist. The two shear zones are approximately 200 feet apart and contain quartz stringers in the centre of each zone. The shear zone strikes N60W and dips 84ºS. The eastern shear is 150 feet wide containing several zones 15-20 feet wide, of intensely sheared rock which has been almost completely altered to sericite. The second shear, 200 feet to the west, is 25 feet wide and is sericitized throughout its entire length and width. Both shears have been trace for 1000 feet along strike.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 20, 2013 (A Wilson) - The best assay obtained from channel sampling was 0.04 oz/t Au over 13 feet in quartz-carbonate. Grab samples of the schist returned assays of 0.02 oz/t Au.
