Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Peridotite 1 Peridotite Host
Mafic lava flow-unsubdivided 2 Calc-Alkalic Footwall

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a thick sequence of medium-grained pyroxenite and peridotite that has been intruded by a narrow quartz-feldspar porphyry sill. The drill hole terminated in a sequence of fine-grained aphanitic mafic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 30, 2014 (A Wilson) - The peridotite returned Ni values ranging from 299 ppm to 1230 ppm Ni over 3 m. The best Cu value was 1614 ppm over 1 m in the mafic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks.

Jul 30, 2014 (P Bousquet) - The high Cu assay is related to a quartz-carbonate stringer containing pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite.
