Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A 30 m sequence of mafic metavolcanics returned elevated Zn values ranging from 111 ppm over .9 m to 16400 ppm Zn over 1.1 m. A second drill hole (MB 89-2) located approximately 1.5 km to the east, also returned elevated Zn and Cu values in a similar rock type. A third drill hole even farther to the east returned 2320 ppm Zn and 366 ppm Cu from silicified mafic metavolcanic rocks. A grab sample of iron formation collected in 1960 returned an analysis of 70.01% Fe, 0.025% Ph, 2.8% Si and 0.034% S. A grab sample collected in 1961 returned an assay of 27.73% Fe.
