Access Description: Access to the site is difficult. A system of logging roads has been developed to the northeast of the site, but the roads are poorly maintained.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The site contains an estimated 6.53 million cubic metres of humified peat. The site does not contain peat of a sufficient quality necessary for the economic production of fuel peat. Carex peat is almost non-existent and the Sphagnum peat is poorly humified. The resources may be of some use as horticultural variety, but poor access and the site's distance from major markets makes its development unlikely.
